Hey everyone!
I hope you’re all having a fabulous hair day! I’m super excited to dive into one of my favorite topics today: Deep Conditioning. Let’s talk about frequency, products, and techniques!
First off, let’s talk frequency. For me, deep conditioning is a weekly ritual. I usually set aside Sunday evenings to give my hair that extra TLC it deserves. I’ve found that sticking to a consistent schedule has made a world of difference in the health and shine of my hair. What about you all? How often do you deep condition?
When it comes to products, I’ve experimented with quite a few. Currently, I’m obsessed with my own line’s deep conditioning mask - it’s packed with natural ingredients like avocado oil and shea butter that leave my hair feeling super soft and hydrated. But I also love trying out new products from other brands. Anyone have recommendations for must-try deep conditioners?
Now, onto techniques! I like to apply my deep conditioner on damp hair and then use a wide-tooth comb to ensure it’s evenly distributed. After that, I cover my hair with a plastic cap and wrap a warm towel around it. The heat helps the product penetrate deeper into the hair shaft. I usually leave it on for about 30 minutes to an hour while I relax or catch up on my favorite shows. Do you guys have any special techniques or tips that you swear by?
I’m really eager to hear your thoughts and experiences. Let’s empower each other to take our hair care routines to the next level!
Looking forward to your responses!
Best,
Ava
